*To Determine if you have a Generation 1 or 2 Tesla lug nuts, see if your Tesla lug nuts have a bolt or stud visible. A visible bolt or stud indicates the lug nut is Generation 2 (Open). If you have Tesla Chrome Lug Nut Covers, remove them.
Before installation, remove your factory chrome lug nut cover using the tool provided.
