T Sportline engineers have developed the first plug-and-play A-pillar LED pod ditch light system specifically for the Tesla Model Y.  With some of our engineering team being prior employees of Morimoto – the leader in automotive lighting – we have a ton of experience in engineering lighting systems. We teamed up our friends at Morimoto again to bring the first ever aftermarket light kit to market for Model Y.  The T Sportline kit has been developed using Morimoto 1Banger, 2Banger and 4Banger pods, the most modern high performance LED pods on the market.  The T Sportline exclusive design is an easy bolt-on installation and lights are toggled on/off from our exclusive wireless control fob – So put your drill down and rest assured, our easy DIY install requires no cutting, drilling, routing wires inside the cab or otherwise permanent mods.   The kit includes a Tesla Model Y specific T Sportline control module and harness which includes waterproof Deutsch connectors for properly connecting our harness to the factory Model Y low voltage battery found in the cowl behind the frunk.   Our included brackets are CNC cut and formed precisely from black powder coded stainless steel for easy bolt-on installation.

 

The T Sportline Ditch Light system is the perfect solution for more light, aimed exactly where you want it. From long-range spot-lights for high speed baja driving to wide-spread ditch lights to illuminate the side terrain, our A-Pillar kit is all about versatility. Select a set of LED pods in your choice of power output (light intensity), lens color, and beam pattern for whatever your use case.  

 

T Sportline’s A-Pillar kit for the Tesla Model Y has been through numerous rounds of design, prototyping and testing directly on the Model Y to ensure perfect compatibility.  Each bracket is laser cut from 304 stainless steel, then powder coated. Put simply, our brackets provide the proper fitment and rigidity to ensure a jiggle-free pod install.  The custom CNC formed brackets utilize pre-existing hood hinge mounting points to create an installation that is truly modification-free. 

 

We didn’t forget about aerodynamics and range.  We carefully tucked the pods up close to the hood, minimizing range impacting aero disruption.
